    Stolen Plates

    Look out.
My license plates were stolen last night. I thought they may have fallen off but noticed that the wire to license light was cut.

In Thornton. 128th and Holly are main cross streets. I reported it right after I saw the plate missing.

    Re: Stolen Plates

More often than someone stealing your plate to rob a bank or steal a vehicle
it's usually done by people who's registration/insurance has expired.

Keep your eyes out for a car/bike of similar make and color in your neighborhood running them.

Good post, I live sort of close to there.... It's been a while though since I have heard of someone stealing a plate. Glad mine are in a garage.

Just like siphoning gas, this used to happen all the time back in the day.
As times get tougher this will happen more and more.

If the thief does indeed do that, what kind of bike do you have? And be sure to let us know if you get the plates back so nobody jumps you thinking you're the thief!
