Just sharing a nice message with others.
I appreciate my sweet new kitten, Bodhi,
how beautiful he is.
I appreciate his sweet temperament.
I appreciate how bold, brave, confident, calm,
playful, and really, really curious he is.
I took him outside on his harness and leash yesterday,
and he explored the yard around the house with the
dogs for over an hour. He LOVED it!
*
And I loved watching him have his first experiences
of rolling in the dirt, chewing on grass, attacking
rustling leaves, stalking the dogs.
It was very cool.
I am just so proud of him.
And I'm thrilled that he now has this good
experience of being outside and a familiarity
with the area immediately around our house
so that if he ever escapes and slips out the door
past us, he'll be more relaxed and comfortable
and know where he is and how to get back home.
*
I appreciate my body today.
I appreciate that almost all of my parts are
working well. I appreciate so much my exercise bike
in the living room. I appreciate this method of
exercise that I genuinely enjoy, riding the bike
and watching something fun and interesting on TV.
I appreciate my free time today, that I have time
to ride and watch today.
*
I appreciate having a little bit of money
in my pocket today. I appreciate having enough
money to go get Bodhi microchipped, to set my
mind at ease in case he ever strays too far
from home. I appreciate the clumping kitty litter,
how easy it makes it to clean the litter box.
I appreciate that my man doesn't mind me
keeping the litter box in the bathroom.
I appreciate how easy and convenient it is
to clean the box every day when I'm sitting
right in front of it several times a day ;-)

I appreciate how my dogs and Bodhi are
getting along. I appreciate the magical evolution
happening in these dogs' minds towards this
little animal. These dogs have killed squirrels
and baby skunks, and their only experience
with cats is the neighbor's old cat which they
attacked when it accidentally jumped into our yard.
So they have expanded their little predator minds
to now include this new creature into their family.
I appreciate the perspective of seeing this
experience as an evolution of their souls. So cool :-)

I appreciate the continuing beautiful weather
here in Colorado, the blue skies and warm days.
I appreciated the warm sun on my back and warm
breeze on my skin yesterday as I followed Bodhi
around the yard.
*
I really appreciate myself for being such a good
pet mama, paying such close attention to managing
each new transition for Bodhi to make it as gentle
as possible. I am so thrilled to see each little
transition unfold safely and successfully,
to see the progress happen from one day to the next,
to imagine it and then see it manifest. Delightful!!!
*
It is heartwarming to see my little dog stand back
and watch Bodhi climb into her bowl and eat her
food and to just lay down and allow it.
This is a dog who doesn't share her food with anyone.
What a miracle!
*
Thanks for listening to my rampage of appreciation.
Have a fabulous day!!!
