Haha, wifey isn't mandatory, just in case she wants to go.... But the ride, hmmmm, I will be leaving just a couple minutes after 7am (brrrr), leaving Amante by 8am, and coming home I would say no later than 11 or noon'ish. My girl is leaving Sunday so I don't want to be out all day riding.
Right on, that sounds good, lemme talk to wifey and see what I can do.

Well since you live nearby (120th and huron) right? We can meet at the shell at that intersection? Unless your running late, I will be leaving Amante at 8am. But leaving Shell probably around 7am - 7:15am
I am actually off of 98th and Washington, but I think I know where that Shell is at.

I may take a drive up there Friday night just to see how the conditions are..... will post up probably a little late Friday night.
Well the drive didn't happen but I still plan on going in the AM. Craven Morehead, if you want to meet up, I will be at Shell at 7am, leaving withing 5 minutes of that unless I hear from you that your running late. (720) 448-4890.
Will be leaving Boulder at 8am but have a feeling after a little ways up, might have to turn around. I just have to get some mileage on this bike.....
Right on Jay, I can only do a quick ride anyway, the wifey schedule family pics tomorrow at 11 so I need to be back by 9 anyway to help get the kiddos ready. I will see ya at 7 at the Shell on 120th and Huron....let me know if anything changes.

Well, started out pretty cold but ended up being a great ride. Didn't leave boulder until around 11 or so.... Parking at Amante Cafe sucked from the snow right out front and on the sides. But once we left there, highway 7 got me nervous for about a minute or two then cleared up real nice.
Turned out great, was actually warmer up in the mountains than at the bottom.

I've found that 13º is about as cold as I can stand and it makes me wish I had heated gear. I rode up to Woodland Park on Friday morning to meet a friend for breakfast. Temp riding up was in the 30's, but it started to snow in the middle of us eating, so I finished eating, hopped on and rode home. I gotta say, that crap sucked!!
