Arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggh! Nice to hear from you scalawag and fellow rascal bus_henry! I think you have explained the essence of The Yard to the paranoid little miss that believes N_N is the hater of the fairer sex. Not true by any measure -- especially the yard.

Hey watch with the Kawi rider references, I stopped riding naked cause I'll be damned if it doesn't hurt like a son of a Biatch when rocks bounce off the Nipples!!!!!
One time I got stopped for speeding on the Colordo Utah boarder
and after a discussion with the Officer about Bannana's, pockets and glad tidings to all he let me off with a warning
and a farewell of "I am always on this strech of highway and I will be watching for you."
My response "I feel so much better knowing that you Officer Pennywise will be looking out for me."

Hey Krissy read my location under my picture. I wasn't the one making fun of kawi riders. It was the other non kawi guy.

Re: crash yesterday at 85/87 exit and academy offramp

Ahh, from sympathy/condolences over the loss of two lives to helmet laws, to rocks hitting nipples, gotta love e-conversations.

I'd say I'm sorry for the loss, but as I didn't know them it'd be a hollow gesture.

As to helmet/seatbelt laws, they're paternalistic bullshit, and they're in place to benefit the various insurance companies--whose interests are well supported by lobbyists, and whose desire for profits (by eliminating pay-outs) comes at the cost of every citizen's right to take the responsibility to be the adult they are and decide whether they want to wear either device at their own risk.

Personally, you'll never find me riding without proper gear (typically full gear) and I don't drive without buckling up--but that should be my right to choose, and there shouldn't be any other bullshit associated with the decision, whether it's the threat of fine/ticket/points or that F*ck-all annoying incessant seatbelt "chime" that won't shut up until you buckle up.

As to rock-nipples...I've really got nothing on that one. Took a bird in the shoulder at hyper speed once, and got stung in the eyelid when a bee flew into my helmet.

However, I am willing to lend an expert eye to appraise any damage claims.
Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.
    ~Hunter S. Thompson
