For all you politico's - LEAVE

God damn I am sick of politics. Didn't the campaigning start 2 years ago? Along with all the bickering on this forum?

Fuck, it's over people, Obama won (like it or hate it) and let's just give it a fucking rest.

Seriously, if you want to debate politics endlessly, I have a great idea: GO TO A POLITICAL FORUM!!!

    Try this one: http://www.debatepolitics.com/

Look at the link. It's a forum and it's called DEBATEPOLITICS.com. Holy shit, what do you think they do on that site? $100 says they aren't debating who's going to win next years motogp, or where they can get a socket to remove the front wheel off of a '95 GSX-R 600...

I agree. This shit getting old, fast

But on the other hand, no one is going to argue about who's going to win MotoGP next year, it's obvious Rossi will take it again

Make a Politics sub-forum so the folks who want to argue have a place to hang out. Starting the thread with a subject line with [Politics] rant rant would help too.

Generally I just try to keep out of the threads, but like a good crash on the freeway, we all rubberneck

Politics and therein political debates are part of life in this and most other countries if you're paying attention to the world around you.

You can never make it go away unless you intend on being so apathetic you basically are admitting you don't care what politicians do with you and your life and your money.

My contention is that there be a subform for Political / Religious / Gun / etc based debates.

    Helll...
Given how much I love the topic - I'd be more than happy to volunteer to moderate the damn thing if the normal moderators don't want to waste their cycles to make sure the general behavior / posting regulations of the CSC are enforced within.

I absolutely believe there should be a forum in "Everything Else" for this / these topics to help keep "General Discussions" cleaner.
...Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Way to talk about politics while making a point about not talking about politics.

Believe me, the normal moderators want absolutely nothing to do with keeping a forum like that in line, hence why it doesn't exist. Especially given that on average, I predict about one thread per 1.5 days will be getting pruned, locked, or graveyarded.

But, I've been pondering making a separate area for a bit now. I'll give this some more thought.
