Trying to plan this summer

Alright, so here's the deal. I've got to go to this evaluation camp for Army ROTC over the summer from around the beginning of June to around the beginning of July. It'll be 5 weeks in total. Due to the fact that the Army in its ultimate wisdom plants this camp right smack in the middle of the summer, it makes it somewhat difficult to get a job.

So what I was thinking is to take a trip either by myself or with some other people. There is a chance I'll be taking my bike back east for a portion of the summer so this trip would take place either out here in the states surrounding Colorado, or up the northeast in places like the Adirondacks and what not.

Just looking for some suggestions on some places that would be fun to visit and do some sight seeing before I head off into Army life after school.

do a tour of Colorado. Like from here to steamboat, to grand junction, to cortez to uray and what not. there is a lot to see here, so take it all in
