    Salt Flats

Do any of ya ever make the trek to the Salt Flats for any of the events? I'm considering it since I've never been.
I'd like to go to the bike speed trials, I'll be working. I am off during the Aug 8-14 Bonneville Speed Week.
Then again, is it worth heading out there while there isn't a big event going on (or is there even such a time)? I just really, really want to see it and to say I've ridden there.

I've seen the salt flats no body pro was there. Just some low budget racers trying to break 150 mph. If you go there lets us know how it was.

At the BUB is when the streamliners go after 350. Now they are over that.
MV went 195 with a stock 1000cc and want more this year.
I was hoping some one would bring the Ducati Desmo 16 and do over 200 and end all hope for MV for the stock 1000cc recored.
