    HP MIE Linux

I have XP on my HP Mini 1000 and am wondering if the Mie stuff is worth it. Ive seen videos but have never tried it. Anyone use it before?

BTW, I know how to use Linux and am not comparing XP to Ubuntu. Im just wondering if its worth the install.

My Acer One boots XP, Linux (Ubuntu) and OSX

I like have all available to mess with, when needed. Nothing wrong with trying it out, make a image of the laptop before hand and if all fails image it back.

I forgot make an image of the XP install. Oh well, didnt have much installed.

I tried it out. Kinda lagy and really gimmicky. I guess I should have expected that one tho.

My Acer One had the option to come with this Ubuntu Remix version...it was some stripped down version of linux for a netbook...it was lame. I ended up putting a full install of Ubuntu instead.
