    Took yesterday off

We went to Daniels Park just so the Pie could get the feel of the DRZ. Then we rode up to Rampart but her GS would not take the snow on the main road going in so we turned around and shot part way up 105 then back home. Man the weather was perfect for a ride

    Ain't it awesome!!!!!!!!!

Better get ya a skid plate. A good one!! Mine is maybe slightly over a quarter inch thick and has some pretty good dents in it. If it wasn't there, my engine case wouldn't be either!!

Yeah, I am getting the TT skid plate and the engine covers too. Big weak point on the DR-Z

I think it's a weak point on all of them. My stock plates were tin foil and plastic. They wouldn't even survive a garage tip-over!!

I thought it was a ZX-14 at first. Fun seeing new bikes and new riders.

And I think Dana's grin in that picture says it all. I'll be joining you guys on the dirt sometime soon (and, Jay, no turn 7 jokes )

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

    Re: Took yesterday off

? for you Dana. Is that DRZ the E or S? I see that that you have 2005 DRZ 400E but it looks more like a S. Both of these things could've been change, but the tires are the same a the stock ones on the S and I don't think the E had rear footpegs on the subframe. Looks like yours has the rear footpegs. Also, if it was street legal from the factory, it would be the S as the E wasn't street legal.
