Need a good body shop in south Denver

I am in need of a good and reasonably priced body shop in South Denver to do a minor front bumper repair, and paint/install a set of headlight eyelids for my '06 Dodge Ram 1500. I've gone to Abra Auto Body so far, and they tried to quote me over a grand, saying they'd have to remove the bumper to fix it? She also didn't know what eyelids were, but managed to quote them? Any idea what a GOOD estimate might be? The damage to the bumper just barely goes into the plastic, and the eyelids (upper and lower) are this kind:

    Here's the bumper:

I would try Eurocollision off of Colorado and C470 or even try Go Courtesy Collision on County Line and Broadway. They will need to take the bumper off of the truck to repair and paint it because it is easier to repair it off the truck and you reduce any chance of overspray. As for the eyelids, the shop is going to prep/paint them and stick them on the lens. You may save money if you just have them paint it and you were to stick them on. Hope that helps.

Have you had work done at these companies? Isn't Go Courtesy a dealership? That sounds expensive.

I'm not saying they don't have to take the bumper off, I'm just saying that a grand is ridiculous.

I have dealt with both shops from an insurance adjuster side and let me tell you, they are really easy to work with. They both have a lifetime warranty on their work as do most shops but I have done quality assurance checks on their work and it was better than average. Go Courtesy is at a dealer but the going rate on labor is at $46/hr so their rates are right on par with any other shop in the Denver metro area. A grand may be a little on the high side as you probably went to the Abra on Broadway St. They probably put flex additive on the estimate, corrosion protection, etc.... A lot of that stuff is fluff on an estimate. You would be amazed that sometimes when a customer gets an estimate as a customer pay, it is usually higher then when I write it as an insurance estimate. Even though insurance estimates try to save money, it is not to low ball the customer. We try to write a fair and accurate estimate. Hope that helps.

I actually had a REALLY good experience at Diamond Auto body. If someone else's insurance is paying, take it there...if you have to pay it can get pricey!
