    Ride last Saturday

Cool! So I post my feelings about the ride on Saturday and I get threats. Threats that your going to offer me a razor blade and salt to wipe my vagina if I have to pee on the side of the road (Devils Tonic and GizzerCarrie). And that you better never see my emo ass on another ride. That's great. Very nice. Mature. So people my advice to you is to not voice your opinion on this forum because you will become the enemy if you don't agree with the majorities thoughts. Just say yep great ride and you'll be everyones best friend. I just thought I should share these threats with everyone. Don't worry you won't see my emo ass on anymore group rides cause I don't feel welcome. Thanks for that. Oh and you won't see me on the CSC Site anymore because I don't feel welcome. So again thanks for nothin. Oh and I wished I would have just kept my mouth shut. Apologies again to all I offended.

..........I have seen that happen in other clubs and it just causes the club to fall apart into smaller clickitty groups.
Is that what the CSC is all about?.....
We have been around for a long time.........You people come and go.......That's what the CSC is all about. You make it what you want it to be. Just don't get too high of hopes, people are people no matter what you do or where you go.

I read the other thread and will say you will never find me on one of those cluster fuck rides, unless I just leave the whole mess behind, and meet at a destination. 5-6 bikes is about it.

If for nothing more than I have grown a little "egh" of the approach, if not the conversation as a whole, Daniel.

    Post. Apologize.
Vent. Vow to "keep mouth shut".
Don't keep mouth shut. Delete post.

So if I'm in any way contributing to the fire, it's just because my initial efforts at moderation (in the original thread), didn't really have much affect. Stephanie more-or-less voiced her opinion. The people she was expressing herself to more-or-less voiced their reactions. The few goofballs that are still getting a good chuckles at her expense, are still clowning. The bottom line is that the moment is over.

    It's been over.

I would have like for it to stay over.

Go back and re-read post #1 in this thead. Did we as a club reeaallyy need to know that it is in our best interests to not voice our opinions in the forum, because we will be attacked for not being in the majority?

Did we as a club reeaallyy need to know that the writer (once again) apologizes for who she has offended?

Did we as a club reeaallyy need to be made aware that she wishes that she would have kept her mouth shut, as the keeping-of-the-mouth-shut wish firmly in her grasp, goes up in flames?

Are we all that much more respectable and responsible people, knowing that while her emo ass would have liked to have been embraced by this club, she has seen fit, to remove herself?

Come on now Daniel... I could have out-n-out attacked the girl, and been about 1000 times more incendiary. Hell... I get off dishing out the verbal crucifixions on the here-n-there. I posted Sensei John Kreese, because I was just ready for a change already. Fight or Submit, but quit picketing in front of the fuckin' dojo.

    Emo:
    Fashion and stereotype

Today emo is commonly tied to both music and fashion as well as an inspiration toward the emo subculture,[20] and the term "emo" is sometimes stereotyped with tight jeans on males and females alike, long fringe (bangs) brushed to one side of the face or over one or both eyes, dyed black, straight hair, tight t-shirts (usually short-sleeved) which often bear the names of emo bands (or other designer shirts), studded belts, belt buckles, canvas sneakers or skate shoes or other black shoes and thick, black horn-rimmed glasses.[21][22][23] This fashion has at times been characterized as a fad.[24] Early on, emo fashion was associated with a clean cut look[25] but as the style spread to younger teenagers, the style has become darker, with long bangs and emphasis on the colour black replacing sweater vest In recent years the popular media have associated emo with a stereotype that includes being emotional, sensitive, shy, introverted, or angst-ridden.[26][27][28] It is also associated with depression, self-injury, and suicide.[29][30]

James and I got quite the kick out of this last night.

I'm like given what everyone else said, "Why am I the Gizzer?"(Her hubby drives a Gixxer). I think its cause I made a comment on Leah's myspace page about dramamama taking pot shots and not sticking to the facts. Supporting Leah for being the more mature one. And, Leah posted me back. Needless to say...Emo Woman has far too much time and found our myspace pages and saw our exchange. Don't go looking...I already deleted it. But, I did find it rather amusing.

That's the long and the short of it.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."
