So Im having issues with this shield continually fogging. Any ideas. Do any of those sprays really work?

    Re: ARAI Face Shield Fogging!

I've used the Fog City helmet liner for the past 3 or 4 years and it works great down to about 15 or so degrees, then your breath freezes on contact with the shield. At that point I use my scarf and a foggy pro mask to keep the moisture from my breath from getting to the shield.

I don't like the foggy pro for regular use because it doesn't quite fit right on my face.

Breathe so that you push the air down out of the helmet rather than towards the screen.

I have been using this stuff for over 20 years on my ski googles with great results. Works great on my Arai. You can usually find it at any local ski shop.

I was going to give the Cat Crap a try on my Shoei visor...(works well on the snow goggles) If it doesn't work, I'll just wear my Suomy - it doesn't fog , even if I'm breathing really heavy

I stuck one of those fog city things on the inside of mine and haven't had any problems since.

I was being serious. I don't need anything for anti-fogging because I breathe downward out of the helmet through my mouth. Been doing it for so long that it's second nature now, even during races.

Ok, the cheapest way to stop fogging is NOT to wear a helmet!

    Re: ARAI Face Shield Fogging!

Strangely, I have never had an issue with fogging in my helmet. It has enough airflow that even if I breathe directly onto the inside of the shield, it won't fog as long as I'm moving.

However, when I'm boarding, fogging on the inside is always an issue. Smith makes these cool anti fog cloths that work great. No liquid, and it's reusable, NOT disposable. Pull the shield off, fog it up with your breath, and wipe with the cloth... try to fog it up again with your breath, and you can't. Good stuff.

My Shoei is at home on a shelf right now, fogged up. That thing fogs up in 95 degree days. I do what Dirk said and it helps a lot.

Performance Cycle down on Broadway. I tried to get one at the Kawasaki place in Longmont but they didn't have one and gave me something that was "just as good".

Yeaaa, pop down to Performance Cycle and get the real thing. The one from the dealer isn't near as good.

You have to ride in temps colder than 40* to experience it.

    Re: ARAI Face Shield Fogging!

I've found as I've replaced farings (lmao) and as u know been gettin my kick ass Carbon Fiber so my bike can look like your pocket bike lol! That cheap cycle has the cheapest OEM around. And pretty much everything else. www.cheapcycleparts.com.

One of my friends who works at GP confirmed it, I had him price somthing at his price as an employee and then looked up this sites price. It was cheaper on the site....Their shipping is kinda expensive...but I've never had a problem with them and I always get things in 2 days. Even double price check with Fay...They always beat both of them out on anything.

What can I say..I'm a girl and I have found where to shop! lmao.
