    KTM Service Shop

I need to take my Superduke in for some investigation / KTM diagnostic tool work tomorrow morning. Can someone recommend a good shop to take it to? I got a bad feeling from Sun and would prefer not to go there. I was planning on going to Elite, but was hoping something was closer to Thornton. Any one have an opinion?

I know that there is a shop in Loveland. I dont know much about them but would be worth at least a phone call

Come check out Fay Myers. I believe we are the only Orange Level certified shop in Colorado. What Orange Level means is that we have sent technicians to weeks of factory training to know a KTM inside and out.

If Loveland is closer to you, Elite's fine (The one in Loveland), they've got the Super Duke training. That's where I bought and take my SDR.

No offense Fay Myers guys, maybe I'll give you guys a look one of these days. Quite a haul from Gunbarrel. Did you guys sell the Super Duke R you had? They're not importing any of the SDs this year, right?

The Super Duke R is still here, along with 2 Super Dukes, and a RC8 I totally understand the distance issue, I used to live in Westminster and when Fay Myers moved I was planning a move within a year

Elite is on the level...all of them ride and aren't pushy. And, they all remember me and which bike I have and ask how it's riding every time I go in. I can't say enough good about them.

There's talk of a SuperDukeForum.net get-together for Pikes Peak this year. A lot of those guys are from states not as KTM dealer-rich as we are around here. I'll mention what you got, maybe you could make a sale...

No 2009 SDs though, right? Or RC8Rs? Not that I necessarily blame KTM, they sold like shit. Look at SuperDukeForum.net, we Americans are vastly outnumbered by the Brits, Euros, and Aussies. When Americans think sport bike, they usually don't look further than the Japanese brands or maybe a Ducati.

My agency landed Buell as a client a few weeks ago, so we'll be trying to get people to at least give the sport bike home team a look.

If you enjoy doing your own work, you could get a tuneboy to do the diagnostics yourself, I have a posting up in the deals section for a hell of a deal on a group buy, wish I would have gotten in on one of them but no GBs were going at the time.

I ended up going with Fay Myers, mostly because it was closer. It took a while, but I got the call today that they discovered what was wrong with her. They were very fair with the price (Ive never trusted any dealer) Cant wait to get her back. Now I know where I'll pick up my RC8. Thanks all.
