Got a text from the Bandidos last night and they are having a great time Bash say's LOTS OF TWISTY'S they will be in Copper Cayon today. Thankfully no Mexican jail for them so far but today is a new day eh!!!!!
One time I got stopped for speeding on the Colordo Utah boarder
and after a discussion with the Officer about Bannana's, pockets and glad tidings to all he let me off with a warning
and a farewell of "I am always on this strech of highway and I will be watching for you."
My response "I feel so much better knowing that you Officer Pennywise will be looking out for me."
    WAIT WHAT??!!!!!

im sure you would only mind if they got thrown in jail because you would have to go bail them out.

Yep, it sure looks like they are still out there looking for the right road to Copper Canyon.

Just a little hint, The bottom of Copper Canyon is Batopilas and the main entry point is Creel (both shown on the map below). They are still quite a ways out.

Good thing I am not with them or else the route would have looked like something drawn by one of these...............

Oh yea of little faith... They made it! Now lets see if they can find the way home again. I suggested to them that they enter at Polomas, MX (Columbus, NM) a very out of the way and safe re-entry point but then again, it's their trip! I can only wish I was with them.

Looks like they are back to the border now. They should be on the US side after taking care of all the permitting.

One of the units actually quit reporting a few hours ago, I'm willing to bet the batteries are just dead but we will find out soon enough. I'm sure they are all together...

    Re: Copper Canyon Mexico Tracking

I posted this in Mental's soco thread. I forgot about this one, so I'm posting it here.

I'm interested in hearing about this trip...

Looks like mental, with OKD's tracking unit is well on his way back. He's in T or C right now heading up I25. Meanwhile, Bash with my unit (which hasn't reported since 9:30 this morning) is still well south of the border...

Like OKD said, hopefully the batteries simply quit, or he just stopped pressing the button. Those are some rough roads though, so it could have bounced off into the bushes too. Maybe it will get picked up and we'll have a chance to track the local drug cartel

Since no one in that crew would leave anyone THAT far in the dust, I'm sure the treo is safe.

We are all back and safe. No real problems
