3 yrs ago, I rode the I70/us 6 route. Took just over 7hrs! Stayed at the Little America in downtown SLC. Commute time to the track was only 20 min on the bike.
Oh and FWIW, I ride an old slow BMW.

Damn! And it's the perimeter course too! I can't see paying $500 for us to ride it, though. I think I'd rather just truck on down to Moab for some rock crawlin' on the dirt bikes.

It's cheaper 4th of July weekend for R2SL, if you want to come back out

Im going to ride for sure. I am making a very long trip out of it.
After SLC, im heading down to tucson az, then back up to denver.
Should be interesting.
Where can I find a schedule of events for that weekend? The Miller and SBK websites don't have anything.

What condition do you expect the mountain passes to be in? What day did you plan on leaving?
Google maps shows your route 40 miles closer and <2 hours more. Good choice.
