Thread: Where to get my bike dyno tuned?

Where to get my bike dyno tuned?

So I figured I would post in here, since the Tech forum moves really s l o w, and since I don't have any questions about the bike or about dyno tuning itself, I figured this would be the best place.

My bike used to live in Iowa at about 700 feet, and now it lives in Fort Collins at around 5000 feet. The bike is equipped with a full system and a PC3 that was dyno-tuned in Iowa, so naturally it runs like crap at altitude. I have since loaded the generic Yoshimura map for the time being, but I am currently looking for a good shop to put it on the rollers for a proper tune at altitude.

Anyone get a good dyno tune recently? Any places to avoid? PRICES?

    THANKS!!

Here's a pic of the bike in question...for no good reason.

Clean bike...check out OTD on East Colfax...I am pretty sure they are still doing free Dyno runs.

Ohhh....the BIKE used to live in IA, but I'm a CO original, been here my whole life outside of some military service.

And I just found the search button, so I'm good to go now....plenty of dyno reading in there.

If you're not looking to get this done soon, I would recommend having Clarkie do it once he is back in Colorado. He is in the Longmont area so not far for you - http://www.moto-garage.com/dynoServices/Dyno.html

If you dont want to wait, try http://fastermotosports.com/ in Denver.

    +1 with Clarkie!

Thanks for the quick replies, guys!! I spoke with Clarkie, who was very helpful in getting me set up with someone, since he's a few thousand miles away.
