OTD Free Dyno Run!

Went to OTD today for the 1st time after reading about it on the forums here. Nice place, very clean. Went over to their service shop today and got myself a free dyno run, crazy!!! First one I've ever had done (previous owner had one done and gave me the sheet though). Anyways, the people there were great and kudo's for the free service... Good job guys, I will have service done in the near future just because they were willing to give before they took!!! Excellent

Also, 1999 R1 with 43k on it, 141 horsies aint too bad either.

Wow, is your R1 modded to hell? A stock '99 R1 makes around 128hp at sea level (I had one); at altitude I'd think it would be in the low 120s.

Well i bought it used. The guy had a yellow newer R1 sitting next to it with the camshaft hanging out of it....He was a real gear head....Had made a bunch of changes to the new one as far as power adders....Supposedly the only things done to my bikes motor or power adders are a BMC permanent air filter and aftermarket airbox, aftermarket plugs and wires, dynojet carb kit and some piston work.....This is what the ad said that I purchased it from off craigslist.......Also AFAM rear A1 w+2 teeth sprocket. The only thing I have done is installed a devil race pipe system.

Also he has aftermarket pads, goodridge stainless brake lines , and some other miscellaneous stuff.......He was one who wasn't afraid to dig in, I believe he was an airline pilot.

Regardless it ran like a raped ape, the sound was absolutely amazing, shooting flames at the door behind out the exhaust.....He said it needed to be tuned, it was running rich and said I could pick up possibly another 3-5 horsepower.....

Im happy with it, while its not the fastest bike in my crew its fast enough for me.....

And yes, it is a free run to anyone I believe....They will check the sprocket, chain and rear tire to make sure everything is in safe working order....But they made time for me....I found out about this on this board....Free to anyone I believe.....

I have a ticket/stub that I picked up inside the parts dept. They also have "Free pick-up and delivery for manufacturer recommended service or performance modification call 303-399-5370 for details". So no need to put mileage on your bike and they can work on it while it snows tomorrow.

I have been there when it used to be Excel Motorcycles but I haven't returned since .The service was fair then and they were pretty straight forward....no bull!!!! Is the new OTD the same way as before????
