    take it to the track???

    does anyone have any info on these events? are bike's allowed to participate? if so what type of gear is necessary? and so on and so fourth... thanks in advance for your response.

    Pretty much the same as test and tune if I am to understand it correctly. See below.

    Yes bikes can run. Gear would be helmet made last 5 years, jacket, gloves, over ankle boots, and if you go faster then 120 you need full leathers one or two piece but two piece must sip all the way around.

    thanks for the info. what about bike prep for tech inspection? i.e. does the lights have to be taped up? and any other info i might need to be ready for tech inspection?

    This is all that's on the Bandi website

    Again, a valid state driver's license or NHRA competition license is required. NHRA approved helmet, denim or heavier pants, a leather jacket, leather gloves, and leather shoes that rise above the ankle. If the bike runs quicker than 10.99 or faster than 120 mph, additional requirements apply

    a few of the guys from here went quite a bit last year

    Yeah you don't necessarily need a 'race prepped' bike. Just something in good working condition that isn't leaking anything. Give them a call tomorrow if you have quesitons

    That is the funniest thing ever, because everyone knows jeans hold up fine at 115mph but once you hit 120 man those things just come apart.

    Wonder if their insurance carrier set the 120 limit.

    I'd love to do this with the bike and the car! Mainly with the bike though.
