Yeah, Hopper in 16th? Maybe b/c he just got on board and hasn't done any testing.

Have you not watch the first 3 AMA Superbike rounds, Daytona and the doubleheader at Fontana? It's looked a heck of lot closer than previous seasons.

    Ummmm, no. Not interested anymore.

I'll probably watch the second AMA Superstock, er SuperBIKE night race tonight......only because I have nothing better to do and Jeff's going to have it on anyways. I think the Gaytona Moron Group/American Moron Association completely and utterly screwed up the series, and basically I'm boycotting it. For all these changes, Mladin still rules, with Hayden in second...on (Surprise!....NOT..) Suzukis.......on bikes 2sec slower a lap. That's "racing"? No thanks.

I know how the first race ended, and lets just say it wasn't "racing" because Spies wasn't around.

I think they should have adopted the WSB technical rules to the letter, except for tires, and it might have even made sense to run the Pirelli spec tire too. WSB has good, close racing, why can't we? I think the answer is.......talent. I think it's obvious that spies and Mladin are so much faster and more consistant that the other guys can't keep up. If we wanted close racing here, Mladin should have gone to WSB too.

Sad, especially because WE invented SBK racing.

I want the old days of Rainey vs. Schwantz back!

AMA just seems so snipped this year. Honestly the only thing impressive
is modern technology of Tivo to watch it on Sunday weeks later and the idea
that Buell has snagged a couple wins. Nothing more than that. Now that
we have studio shots and a host doesn't make up for the totally canned and over
produced racing show that we get now. It's like licking the cheese paper from
a cheap burger made with cheap cheese. Sorry gang! It's just tasteless.
