    who re-wraps pipes?

I am wondering if there is anyone who re-wraps pipes. Mine is rashed heavily, plus i wanted to do a little something unique with it. Just wondering if anyone knows who does it.

you refering to the fiberglass exhaust pipe wrapping?

its not too bad, pretty much just wrap it around itself, then secure the loose end with the stainless zip-tie type things IIRC. I did mine when I put the undertail on because the pipe was a bit to close to the ECU for my liking, took a couple tries to get it to my liking and pulled tight enough.

    Jim,

Depending on what you wanted to do with it, I may be able to help you out. Re skinning it in Aluminum wouldn't be too hard for me. Finding the material isn't bad and I think we could work something out. If you wanted to get "creative" that will probably be beyond what I can do.

Drop me a PM and let me know what you think

    Scott

I can't find the link, but there was a company out of the UK that sold all sorts of parts and components to make your own can...

I'm not sure where you could get thin gauge alum or stainless around here without spending an arm and a leg...I have access to sheet metal rollers and a small brake at work if you need them, but I'm a bit of a hike

    good luck!
