At the risk of sounding completely idiotic, where in Bishops??? I keep hearing about it and really would like to get down there before too long.
Let us know how the roads are when you get back too! I might do it later tomorrow afternoon since I'm booked in the AM.

It is actually quite striking, and ever changing. Jim Bishop is an impressive and eccentric figure, and the road there is just great. In the fall and spring the drive is goregeus, but to be avoided on weekends becuase it will get crowded.

I got a late start on my morning and I've got things to take care of before I go riding, wish I could join you.
i usually ride solo on weekdays as everyone i know works too... but it also cuts down on traffic while your riding
