Crashing sucks! But it could have been worse. If you need any help, just ask.

damn dude...that sucks... the important thing is that you are OK...don't beat yourself up too bad...shit happens, and experience is gained from said shit
well there Mr.
my buddy who took the never ever class with you ( the guy behind you prior to destruction) says you motored by him on the front straight at roughly 150 mph and TRIED to negotiate turn 1 at or around 100mph.
my guess is you bit off more than you can chew coming into turn 1.
live and learn grasshopper!
be nice till it's time to no longer be nice
Damn Zach... You don't F'around!
Sorry about the (early) get-off, but at least you're okay. All that shit can be repaired/replaced and you'll at least have a proper track bike, depending what route you take.
Crashing in someone elses leathers. Now that!.... is unforgivable.

Damn, that sucks..... let me know if you need help with anything. I hope you can get back on soon, and still turn right without it going through your head again.
First off, Zach glad to hear you are ok.
Second that is why slow bikes are better to start out on, less chance of getting in way too hot...I have to pin my SV all the way to brake marker 3 at PMP to get to 115!
Third, why is this thread all about Zach and not mentioning Rule #1 breaker Rybo? Sorry Scott, had to mention that...
Fourth, anyone know if the guy on the Ducati was ok at the very end of the day?
Slow and fat, but entertaining...

the guy on the monster that high sided into turn 6 was totally fine unlike his bike which got totally destroyed.
I dont know what kind of bike finished the day but if it was also a Duc I'd say yesterday was not a good day for the Ducs making it 3 out of 4 crashes

that sucks bro, heal up first, then get that bike back up and running and go out and have fun again
Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.
Was the guy on the monster the one who crashed in turn 10? I though he was on a 916 or something similar. Anyways I say the guy who crashed in turn 10 at the end of the day up and walking around. He did have his arm in a sling though.

Thanks for the words people. Yes, Sean, there is a possibility that the throttle got a little happy on me. But ya know what? It's ok because a) I am ok and b) the bike will be pretty easily repairable and c) it didn't happen in the canyons. At the minimum I can see, looks like I need a new right clipon and killswitch housing/throttle, new crankcase cover, and some new god damn rear sets that won't scrape. Other than that, most damage was cosmetic. I got a free shorty brake level out of it!
Crashing in borrowed leathers, however, is a little less forgivable . I'm trying to get back out there for the June Chicane day, but we'll see how the bike goes.
Edit: I still feel like a humungo dufus.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Damn Zach, glad you're alright though!
Glad I didn't let you borrow MY leathers.

Be polite. Be professional. But be prepared to kill everyone you meet.
