I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

He is alright for the most part, cracked 3 ribs and broke 1, and tore something minor they said in his shoulder. He just trail broke a bit too long going into 10 and lost the front. It was his first crash in 23 years... it was a good run. Definitely a bad day for Ducati's mine had a really bad chatter in the front end so it sat most of the day.Was the guy on the monster the one who crashed in turn 10? I though he was on a 916 or something similar. Anyways I say the guy who crashed in turn 10 at the end of the day up and walking around. He did have his arm in a sling though.
I will have to reimburse Wayne as I feel that the leathers may have contributed to the crash. They were a touch on the small side and I was having a lot of trouble getting my weight around on the bike because of it.
Glad to hear the guy on the Duc is ok. That bike looked fucking mangled when we were leaving.

The bike is actually good, only the right side fairing and the break lever. Thankfully b/c he was using my other wheels too...lolGlad to hear the guy on the Duc is ok. That bike looked fucking mangled when we were leaving.
Good deal. Also, on a side note, why the fuck are rear brake levers $90? Sigh.

One of the lessons I learned in the "Rybo School of Awesomeness" is that, fast doesn't egual good lines, but good lines equal fast.
+1000 We've all had "oh shit" moments going into t.1. You are not alone my friend.
Hope to see you that day Get back up on the horse.
He almost got me changing out of my long underware in the middle of t.7. I "thought" no one was looking...but there was Marc

Let me check to see if I have an extra brake lever that might work, you will want something at least in place for the spacer (for the peg). If you go with aftermarket rear sets, it will come with a rear brake lever though.
All riders who crashed are ok, including our contestant in turn 10.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."
--Thomas Jefferson
Update: Just plugged the sub harness back into the ignition. Engine will crank but not hook-up. Looks like I will be checking for spark today.
Unfortunately, the cluster got fucked in the crash so I can't have it self-diagnose for fuel problems. Argh.

Be polite. Be professional. But be prepared to kill everyone you meet.

Body position could have been your problem. From what I can tell this was your first time out... Most riders that go out to the track for the first time their body position is way off. I have even seen people that take multiple classes and still could use better positioning.

That was probably the only that kept me from breaking down after the crash, Sash. Lol.This is turn 7. Bring Sash a sandwhich
