4th annual memorial day ride...north meets south...

    so here are the details.
    sunday may,24th

the northern group will be meeting at the diamond shamrock gas station in lyons.
    4206 Ute Hwy, Longmont, CO‎ - (303) 823-5480‎

it has yet to be determined where the dirty southies will meet, but i'm sure tipys will make us all proud.

meet time for the northies will be between 8:30-9:30
there will be the typical speech,so be there to hear it.
leave time will be near 10 am.
from there the northies will make a short gas stop in nederland and head our way to meet the southerners in idaho springs at Marion's of the rockies.
    2805 Colorado Blvd, Idaho Springs, CO‎ - (303) 567-2925‎

this will be our lunch meeting point!!
if any arrive before the rest of the group feel free to get your meal in and allow others to occupy the room that has been set aside for us.
we can seat at least 40 people in the reserved room according to scott (http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forums/member.php?u=1616) the owner.

from there the decision on what the group itself will do will be decided by the group.
I.E. north wishes to go south, south wishes to go north.
this will always be a small debate.
it will be decided after lunch.
let me know if i left anything out...

Does anybody really look in their own areas? Don't most people just go to "new posts"?

Re: 4th annual memorial day ride...north meets south...

Hey guys, Scott (owner of Marions of the Rockies) I am finally getting to this thread. OK so here is the final deal. We came short on fold out chairs so its looking like about 35ish for the back room which I will stop seating @ 11 for the regulars and start seating the sportbike club. If you arrive from the hours of 1130 to 1 (dont know your official times) it would be helpful if you could sit and get to ordering. I can turn meals a lot faster if you order sparatically rather than everybody @ once. After the back is full you will then be sat in the main dining room and rotated in with the regulars. that might mean a little bit longer waiting time.. but not long hopefully.

PARKING...... Our back room is a full window view so I will have the employees park there in the morning and then we will move the cars as you guys arrive. this is mainly so you dont have to bring as much of your gear in and still be able to watch it. I will also post a main thread both here and geneal disc. with our menu so you can decide if you want some grub.

happy you guys are coming and hopefully more than 6 come up. please do post if you are coming so that I know whether or not I need extra people to help serve you guys better.

    thanks
    Scotty Martinez

Not that I care in the least what the weather is gonna be like on Sunday...but...

Sunday still looks good. It's still 5 days away, but unless the forecast changes to rain all day long, I'll be seeing you all up at Marions in Idaho Springs.

Really looking forward to it, too.

We now return you to our regular scheduled programming of "As the vidcam bounces...", or "Now that's what I call target fixation..."

Nahh.. that's what rain gear's for. Anywho summer T-storms in CO are the late 3-4pm variety. Watch it'll be sunny in the morning.
