    Favorite Margarita Recipe

I've spent many years experimenting with new margarita recipes. It took me a long time to do so but I actually managed to perfect the Chili's presidente margarita. While it is good I have a recipe I preffer and its actually much more simple.

    Please post your favorite here.

    1 shot of tequilla
    1/4 shot of triple sec
    1/2 a lime freshly squeezed
2 shots of sweet and sour
    Shake well
Pour over a glass full of ice

Don't forget to salt the glass!
    Bikes, Babes, and Booze.

    Speed is relative.

All though I love margaritas, one of my favorites is the Mexican Cosmo.

    2-1/2 Parts Reposado Tequila
    1 Part Triple sec
    3 Parts Cranberry Juice
    Fresh Ginger

    Shake well and enjoy!

    Re: Favorite Margarita Recipe

    2 parts tequila
    2 parts frozen limeaid
    1 part triple sec

I prefer mine blenderized with ice, and limit all my drinks to a maximum of 3 ingredients for simplicities sake.

When you're single there's no such thing as chick drinks. They are called "panty droppers.".

Panty droppers are only to be drank when in the presence of women and for the purpose of dropping panties. Drinking panty droppers when out with your boys is a direct violation man law.

Not this kind. I would not judge it unless you've had one. Besides, why classify something if the end result is the same ($hit faced).

Margs are good, but nothing beats a whiskey sour.

    1/3 part Jamison
    2/3 part sour

    or

    1/2 Jamison
    1/2 Sour

    pending the occasion!

A good 12 year scotch should never be shrewd... Look for better whiskeys!

    Check out Glenmorangie... my favorite!

Never made them all from scratch. I use the mixer and then cheap takillya. Margaritas are like my kisses, they do not have to taste good, they just have to make you feel sloppy and dirty.

    Anyone up for some margs?

    Re: Favorite Margarita Recipe

1 1/2 oz Cuervo Gold (perfect flavor tequila for a Marg)
    3/4 oz Gran Marnier
    4 oz Sweetened Lime Juice
Shake vigorously and pour WITH THE SAME ICE you shook it with into salt rimmed glass.

Anybody that puts Sour Mix in a Margarita is destroying a perfectly good drink with lemon which has no business being in a margarita. Nor should anybody put OJ, or any other juices in it. When margaritas were chic, too many people destroyed a classic with different flavors.
