    Stolen 50th anniversary R1

    Saw this on craigs. Poor dude/dudette.

    Thursday night my yamaha r1 50th annivesary edition motorcycle was stolen. We just moved here from oregan and had parked the bike until it could get colorado plates and insurance therefor if I can't find the bike I'm just out that money. Its a yellow and black sport bike with a broken clutch handle, it has a scratch on the rear farring and has OR plates on it if u think u may have seen it or have any info please call or email me at 970 581 9195 ... wonderbread8889@yahoo.com if the bike is found based on information u give me I am more then will to give a reward this bike means more to me then money.

    That guy lives in my apartment complex. I'd seen his bike parked in the carport right across from my garage and spoken to him once before. Friday morning when I was gearing up to go to work I saw him again, and he told he his bike had been stolen overnight. Sucks.

    Should have had insurance... I feel bad the bike was stolen but don't feel to bad that he lost the money, he had the choice to get insurance.

    It says above on the first post that he had no insurance because he moved. Well that's just a piss poor excuse not to have insurance especially on such an expensive bike.
