Would a 180 rear tire fit a 96 VFR 750? As far as I understand these come with a 170 rear but I have a friend interested in a 180 rear I'm selling so just wondering if it'd fit.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

The 96 VFR came with a 5 inch rear rim, which is a bit too narrow for a 180. It is possible to put the 180 on the narrower wheel, but it bows up the tread, so that the actual footprint on the ground is narrower.
