    Re: Dyna Beads

Well if I passed this up I wouldn't be able to say anything without giving them a try I will give you a call next time I am in Denver area.

But you offering it up like that tells me you really do stand behind this stuff. I will tell you this if it does work I will pay for what you put in.

I love them. And agreed on Michelins being damn near balanced to start with.

Also, it's a variation on a method used by big tire guys (37"+) to throw golf balls in their tires...

add: Truth be told I probly will never make it up their to get them. But him making the offer alone shows how much he stands behind these things.

Have you ever put a sportbike tire on a static balancer?

Hey DK, do you have to remove the tire or can they be installed via the valve stem?

John, pop out the valve stem and you can easily install them in mounted tires. In fact if someone wants Dynabeads and rides in we install them for free with purchase.

This has me scratching my head. 4,000 miles on the front or rear? The front I can see, but the rear shocks me. what tire pressures do you run? I have been running PP tires on my cbr600rr for the last 20,000 miles and I get about 3-4k out of a rear, depending on how much I drone down the interstate vs. staying in the mountains. The fronts I get between 7-8k. You think I can squeeze another 3-4k miles just by putting in beads?

I am concerned with moments of unbalance. I can't wrap my brain around the fact that they would stay balanced 100% of the time. I have bad visions of hitting a bump in a corner, the beads jumping allowing the tire to unbalance. Not exactly what I want in a corner.

One last balancing question. Don't PP tires have a dot on the tire that pinpoint a heavy or light spot that should be matched with the Valve stem on the rim? I have had a front tire in the past that required no lead weight to balance. Usually 3/4 to 1 oz of lead is needed for front. Could tires be that off or are the tire guru not paying attention when mounting?

    Thanks,

    Toby

I am not sure if PP have a dot never have seen one on a Mich doesn't mean there is not one. But it wouldn't throw it off much if any if it wasn't matched up. Its just an odd thing some of the tire companys do.

Also if there is a dot it would be paint on and very easy to see.
