Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain."

Weather so far is cloudy and watching the forecast this morning shows that clouds are moving from the East to the West. Boulder is still bathing in sunshine. I'll still be at Starbucks in the King Soopers parking lot this morning in Loveland. Send a text, or call if anyone won't make it.

..."Don't freak out...there'll only be a few light showers throughout the day..." Yeah, that's what Marty said this morning on the news before I decided to take off. Met up with Daniel and Mike at Starbucks, and as the clouds were being burned off by the sun, we headed West into the unknown...
Got to half way between Rustic and Cameron Pass and pulled off where the fisherman in his yellow rain slicker sits and decided to make an executive decision. Nope, Daniel's not thanking Mother Nature...he's thinking how much longer before we get pelted by sleet again. That misty-looking stuff, hanging over the mountain behind him is very deceiving.
Decided to do lunch in Mishawaka and wait to see if those clouds would continue their Eastward journey. Hey Daniel, didn't I say that teal colored clouds hold hail?
I'm not sure if this shows how we've been tricked throughout the day...but those flowers did not smell very nice...
Decided to back track and go over Stove Prairie, because those clouds were sticking around and there was sun shining over the West. Came out on the other side and...yep...hit the hail...

We were treated to conversation by some other hearty souls as we waited out the pelting...
...who had to show off their own personal touch...
...and yep, Mike and Daniel just had to ham it up...heck, why not, got nothing better to do...
Yep, the license plate holder says it all...
What caught my eye, was that the chopper was running Avons, just like my Kawi...and the chicken strips are almost as small as mine...damn!
One more...the artsy-fartsy...
