Chicane PPIR dates cancelled

I am sorry to announce the Chicane will not be running events at PPIR in 2009. This decision comes as a result of not being able to provide adequate impact protection at turn 1 and turn 2 and is a mutual decision between the track management and Chicane.

Chicane is born of the idea that fun, safe trackdays ARE the standard, and since I cannot provide the level of safety I would like to I cannot feel good about offering events at PPIR in 2009.

Bummed I won't get to ride PPIR this summer but totally respect the decision. Safety is always a deciding factor for me, being a speed freak with two kids is tough...

In the past there have been NO open days at PPIR. The only way to get on the track has been to race either at the club or national level there.

I don't believe that there will be any open days at PPIR this year, but the MRA will be racing there in July and September. If you hold a race license that option will be available to you.
