    Shortening a Yoshimura RS-5 Pipe

    EDIT:

i ordered a carbon fiber yoshimura RS-5, i plan to shorten it 4 or 5 inches, the end cap is rivited on.

looking for input or advice on cutting the Carbon Fiber, is it same as cutting metal? is anything special that i should do?

    I'm just saying............

It sounds like a really easy job since most Yosh's come with a rivited end cap. The only concern would be if the pipe for some reason wasn't a straight through design and had some sort of baffle system in there, then it would be tricky, but still do-able.....

Oh hell NO. Did a Northie come in here and satrt trying to regulate SoCo?!?! Even a northie on good terms with SoCo?

Do we go up in yer fancie Martha Stewart northie threads and ask if they could be less gay? No. Becuase A, we already know the answer, a northie thread can always be less gay, as you routinely max out your gayness. and 2, becuase we stay in our place. This is why they have regional forums. Girlie, yer looking to get an old fashion electronic beat down! Since I can't do it, I ain't afraid to go running to the SoCo momma and tell on you!

Brat if you didn't know dallas just hears what he wants to hear weather it be sheep or thongs. When we could have been talking about hookers and blow.

You either use a fine tooth hacksaw, a Dremel tool with an abrasive cutting wheel, side grinder with abrasive cutting wheel or a tile saw. I would measure everything at least twice, find out exactly where you want to make the cut, then wrap it with masking tape. Once your cut area is prepped, I would make a test cut on a portion of the pipe you want cut off.

I would recomend the side grinder with an abrasive cutting disk option, and use the thinnest cutting disk you can find.

I do so believe that or friend here is trying to stir the pot, Hmmm could that be because Hot tub and Jello, Sully and Krissy all in the same thread . WHat say you girl????????

Oh and don't they have like Banana Jello.....yes I think banana jello would do just fine

**edit how the hell did I get in the pipe link....I thought this was the BBQ link. Never follow a Mental Link NEVER EVER **
One time I got stopped for speeding on the Colordo Utah boarder
and after a discussion with the Officer about Bannana's, pockets and glad tidings to all he let me off with a warning
and a farewell of "I am always on this strech of highway and I will be watching for you."
My response "I feel so much better knowing that you Officer Pennywise will be looking out for me."
    WAIT WHAT??!!!!!
