    Ride to Vegas

I was watching "The Hangover" the other night and it got me to thinking about a short 3 or 4 day trip to Vegas. I've never taken a road trip with people I've just met, but it's not like you have to share a room or anything. It would just be nice to have some other riders for the trip. A few questions perhaps other members could answer:

    1) Has a CSC group of riders ever made a Vegas Trip?

    2) Would there be any interest from any of you to take a trip in the VERY near future?

    What are your thoughts?

Haven't watched Swingers in awhile. Such a good movie. I used to live 5 minutes from the Derby where the swing dancing scene took place.

I've moved this to the correct forum.

And yes, I was part of a group of 4 that made the trip in '02. Some pics are posted here.

The girls out there are getting trickier everyday. Last time I went out there for a industry event I was pick-pocketed by on the girls I met. Got $300 and my paypal card which they charged $140 at 7-11 on. My business partner was taken for $1000 cash when he brought a working girl up to his room and past out after the fun.

Yeah, sage advice but how can you have fun with booze and hookers if you dont have hookers?

    That is just bad math.

    Re: Ride to Vegas

I'm glad I am seeing some interest. So here is the deal! I'm a single father and the ONLY free time I get is in the summer. I know it's hotter than hell in the summer going to Vegas but I have to be a full time dad again on July 26th. So honestly, if a few of you can get ready I am completely flexible and can leave any day, any time. I was hoping within a couple of weeks. I've never taken a long bike trip, I don't know what to pack, or any of that, but what I lack in knowlege of such things, I MORE THAN MAKE UP FOR IT with enthusiasm to ride and even GREATER enthusiasm to visit Sin City and do a little sinning.

    Re: Ride to Vegas

Have you looked at any kind of route yet?
Are you thinking about just the interstates? Lile I70 to I15?
Thats about 11-12 hours. Back roads is a lot longer. Probably about 18 hours.

    Re: Ride to Vegas

yeah, probably just the interstates. That's long enough in the saddle without taking the scenic routes.

Im only 19. Can I even do anything in Vegas? If so, I might be in. Id be a little more predisposed to take the scenic route. Saddle time is good time

    Re: Ride to Vegas

You have no idea the amount of trouble you can get into in Vegas, as the age of 19. It's potentially more fun, than actually being 21 and enjoying it all legally.

    Re: Ride to Vegas

I guess I need to update this. I wasn't all that happy with my viffer so today I picked up a zx-12r which is awsome! Unfortunately, it took my Vegas budget to get the bike. So no Vegas for Buzzardman this summer. Maybe Christmass? Least I have a bike to show for it instead of some V.D. from hookers.
