I'm thinking of a longer ride (300-375 mi) Meet up at the blue cow eatery in Morrison around 8/drink some coffee if you want to eat. Right around 9 head out through Morrison. Make a fuel stop in Evergreen in Route to 70. Take 70 to Wolcott(19mi past Vail) I know it's highway. Stop in Dillon and Vail for fuel/break. Next fuel stop is approx 86-100mi. North on 131( great road) East on 134 (Gore Pass). East on Highway 40 fill up in Kremmling fuel/break. Stop in Winter Park/ fuel. Berthoud Pass to Denver. Those roads are worth the cruise. It is long, but it is fun. Nice fun ride.Might not be a bad idea to bring rain gear just in case. A nice cruise enjoying colorado on sportbikes.

Working on it. Should be done and nice and quiet tomorrow. I was doing my best to hunt down some of the right kind of fiberglass for my can tonight to no avail. Ill try to hit up a muffler shop tomorrow and git er done
Actually, the bike has undergone some pretty major surgery since the lakes ride. I pretty much bought a parts bike that was an old race bike and moved all the good stuff over to my titled bike. Everything's different except the frame, controls, and electrics. Hopefully I can work out all the kinks by friday
Also, yay for long rides! This should be fun.
May I suggest taking hwy 6 over loveland pass and that twistyish road around the south side of dillon reservoir ? That would be a perfect midway break to the I70 monotony, and I have never done either road on a bike yet. It would probably cost us an extra 20 minutes
It's not that bad, the roads are worth it. minimal cops, minimal people, we could even reverse it incase the weather turns nasty, so all we had was freeway incase it does rain late in the afternoon? Are you guys going to join for breakfast on Fri. Killer toast. I promise it is a worthy road, the only thing you will notice is there are hardly any cars.
