F4i battery dead

Hey, some of you may know I dumped my bike a couple weeks ago. Since then, something odd has happened - my battery has been conspicuously dead two or three times now. However, I have ridden it without problem a couple other times between these dead battery incidents. What could cause an intermittent problem like this? Is it possible when I jump the bike the battery acquires enough charge for a couple of start-ups, explaining why it works sometimes? Thanks for any help!

Sounds like a loose electrical connection somewhere. The ground connection from the negative terminal to the frame could be loose - at the battery or the frame.
