How fast is the speed of Dark?

Is it any coincidence that the artist's conception of this looks kinda like a motorcycle wheel?

I liked it better, when it was called the Dodge Tomahawk.

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

Pretty much mental masterbation about a substance that they can't prove exists. Lots of "ifs" and "maybes".

Saw that at the Cleveland Auto show one year. Interesting. That center section is machined out of a solid one-piece billet (500+lbs). Interesting bit of engineering and fabrication, but even Chris Carr couldn't get that thing to turn....... The spokespeople were telling all the suckers at the show that it'd do 300mph (theoretical, based on gearing), and I had to laugh and tell them if you could actually ride the thing at over 80 or so, earodynamically you'd be lucky to do a little over 200.

And, if you ever seriously got on it, the sideways torque reaction would pretty much roll you on your side. Interesting though.
