    Laguna Seca

So what is everyone thinking about the events that are about to unfold this weekend?

Is it going to be Rossi who dominates?
Is it going to be Stoner who checks out?
Is it going to be Pedrosa who needs to do something?
Is it going to be Andrea D. who wants a podium?
Is it going to be Nicki who will be flying the American flag on the 4th of July?
Is it going to be Lorenzo who wants to stick it to Rossi?
Is it going to be Capirossi who is just a scrapper?
Is it going to be De Puniet who just won't crash?
Is it going to be Colin who wants his first GP win ever?
Is it going to be Melandri who just knows how to ride the Kawi?

We are in for a knock down drag out battle royal says I!!!!!!!!

You are apparently watching a different MotoGP series than I am watching, as it will probably be similar to the last race. Rossi to Win, Lorenzo to Place, Stoner to Show. Nicky and Colin may get a top 10. Pedrosa crashes out. Dovi shy of a podium again. Talmasci at the back. Only 3 more weeks til WSBK again!

Would that tie it up again?
Is it 15 or 16 points for third?

As much as I would love to see Stoner destroy the field, I think you've got the line up.

I am going to go with Nicky. He just has seemed like he has holding back a little bit. But either way its gonna be a great race hopefully a repeat of last year.

Stoner, Rossi, Lorenzo (if he doesn't crash), otherwise Pedrosa.

Sadly, I don't see Nicky winning another race unless he gets a new ride. Ducati should just save the money and have 1 team with 1 rider. Nobody else can ride the damn thing.

    Re: Laguna Seca

I think Nicky is a dark horse for a podium, he ran much better at Assen, a couple miscues and a tech issue kept him from competing for 4th. Stoner hasn't seemed very committed of late, I vote for the Doctor to win followed by Lorenzo...would be interesting to see Nicky challenge Stoner for 3rd!
    Slow and fat, but entertaining...

Uh, Nicky just GOT a new ride.

He just needs to turn down the "suck" a little bit.
Top 10 at Laguna? Not a chance in hell.
I put him at 12. Not being a party-pooper, just being a realist.

Maybe not a top 5, but def top ten. Hayden always does well near his home crowd. I think Nicky's time has passed with championships. He was doing fairly well in the last few races on the Honda, and even with the adjustments being made on the Duc, he is still midpack. Hopefully he can get a top ten again at Laguna, there is so much damn pressure on that dude to perform well.

    Well look at this
Nicky Won at Seca in 05 the first year GP raced there
    06 Won again
07 He lost his brakes because of someone coming in contact with him and didn't even finsh the race.
    08 He didn't even ride
