Thumbs up NOC engineer, heavy Cisco moving towards Juniper.

So a previous employer of mine (large cable company) is looking for someone who is very good with IOS, experience with JUNOS. They expect Cisco experience but they want someone familiar with Juniper that won't need training. So if you don't know JUNOS, it'll be tough.

Using largely Cisco 7600 equipment and Juniper M-series routers intermingled with a future of JUNOS, potentially. So the more Juniper you know, the merrier.

I was told this is initially for a mid-shift NOC, 11p-7a, is hourly and contract-to-hire (usually 6 month, but can change). Pay is 33-37/hour. You get shift differential when you convert to permanent.
If you're qualified, i can send you the actual job description and get you in touch with the recruiter. I can also tell you most of what you need to know about the environment you'll be working in.

In the DTC area, Orchard and I-25'ish.
