    Insurance question

I'm thinking of getting rid of my cruiser and getting a 600. Can anyone tell me about what I should expect to pay for full coverage insurance for a new 600, say, a CBR600RR? I'm 40, married, no accidents, and have the MSF training.

    Thanks!

    Re: Insurance question

It really depends on the insurance company. I have state farm and have a 2007 600rr (which is for sale, shameless plug) and I pay about $20 a month for it. Hope that helps.

    Re: Insurance question

I think 20 is right on track considering age and the clean record. Possibly 30/month however that should be it. You can also qualify for discounts depending on your insurance company, multi-vehicle, home, etc.

Go online to esurance, progressive, etc. and setup a quick quote with your information, it will give you a rough estimate. I personally go through Progressive, their pricing is not bad.

Man, I am really getting screwed on insurance. 22, college, State Farm, $90/mnth, State Farm says no tickets although I do have them.

    Oh yeah, full coverage.

    Is that physically possible?!!?!?

    Re: Insurance question

That is crazy. I'm at 5-something a year with 2 tickets from Progressive.

    Re: Insurance question

Seems to be quite a range there. I currently ride an '01 Victory and pay around $175 a year for full coverage with AllState.

By the way, which dealer do you think would be most likely to give me the most for my trade in?
