Sorry Chris, Today's ride was pretty eventfull(we were at MoCo at 8:30). Less than 10 minutes we stopped to help a rider coming the opposite direction who went wide and smacked a gaurd rail. Then annother 15 minutes one of our own went down with just a few bruses. After we got going again, yet another 5 or 10 minutes of riding another of our group hit a rail bending his front forks and breaking his wheel. After that we all decided that it wasn't a good day to ride. Four of us decided to go on up Mt.Evens when we pulled into the cabin at echo lake it started sprinkling and when we left it started raining pretty good till I-70 so we all went our separate ways. All in all everyone was OK but as Vampie said--BAD JUJU.
Maybe next time
Pat
Sorry for messing up the beginning of the ride, totally my fault, missed seeing the sand, came oh so close to riding that one all the way out. We are both fine, just some banged up parts and the bike faired very well.
Dave... glad to hear you and Renata (sorry for the spelling) are ok.

Is that why nobody came along when we left the Bueller's crash site? We waited for a while at 285 and nobody showed...
DR-Z's represent!
Dave, I saw everything and you where so close to saving it, fack. Renata is amazing, she held on so well!
By the time I realized you had hit sand, my rear was all over, but riding solo on the 400 gave me a chance. Not sure what would had happened if I was on the 848...
I was wondering why the group didn't catch up after that...

Damn. Sounds like an eventful ride for sure. Hope everyone is all good. I'm sure the rain we got yesterday caused some unfair conditions in spots.
Fuckin DRZ takeover.

Hey Zach? Why don't we take your 929 down Rampart Range too? It's not new...
Will is trying to talk me into buying a DRZ at the moment.

After Denise and I ate we went back to the hotel and she took a good nap. I went out riding some more from Golden (the back road back towards Black Hawk). Vampie took us the reverse rout Sat. When I got back Denise was ready to ride so we took the Lookout Mountain Loop then back 40 and then took the same rout I had taken earlier. Got back at the hotel about 9p.m. We are probably gonna ride tomorow till 2or3 before we load up and head back to Hell oops I mean Kansas. Thanks for the good times
