    Tank leak

    I know it is probably a long shot and I am sorry if this is in the wrong board but does anyone know of a good wat to repair a tank leak? If so please let me know.

    Sorry for the wrong thread. Anyways the leak is pretty bad steady drip seems to have leaked the whole tank over night. As far as the bike it is a Kawasaki KZ1000 Police bike

    It all depends. Are you sure it is leaking from the takn and not the Carbs or a line coming from the tank? If it is leaking from the tank, where is it leaking from?
    a seam? A rust hole?

    Good point I think I am going to try to pull the tank tonight to check. But it was physically dripping from the edge of the tank so it is either the tank or maybe the fuel line connected to it.

    Did you shut off the petcock when you parked it? Sometimes those go bad and leak, causing the fuel to overflow from the carbs while it's parked.
