    Computer tech needed-Manitou D-12

    Computer tech person needed at middle school/elem school.


    MANITOU SPRINGS SCHOOL DISTRICT 14
    MANITOU SPRINGS, CO

    VACANCY NOTICE

    POSITION: LEVEL 1 COMPUTER TECHNICIAN


    LOCATION: Manitou Springs Middle/Elementary School
    415 El Monte Place/ 110 Pawnee Ave.
    Manitou Springs, CO 80829

    REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Must demonstrate competency in the use of computer systems.
    • Successful candidate will carry out trouble shooting on networking, Macintosh, Windows and Office, Internet and E-mail systems, ect. to use technology for teaching support and learning tool's.

    TERMS: $10.35 – $11.75 per hour depending on experience, plus benefits, Mon. – Fri. until the end of the school year.


    SITUATION: Level 1 Computer Technician is responsible for assisting staff with technology and supporting students in a lab setting.

    It isn't a level 1 "cert", it's a level one "position". Meaning graduate HS and come tinker with our computers.

    We have trouble keeping tech people because of the wages...but the people we get all move on to much bigger jobs due to the experience. Some have moved to district after one year. Think about it.
