If there are Riders interested in having there suspension evaluated and set up I can be at the IMI track day on the 7TH.
    The cost:
Sag Set and clickers is normally $80. I'll work for CSC Peeps for $50.
    What you Get:
    1. I will evaluate your current Spring Rates and inform you as to what you have and what is ideal for your weight and Riding style.
    2. I'll work with you through out the day making adjustments. This will include Hot Pit adjustments.
    3. A work up sheet that has your current settings and the adjustments we make through out the day.
    4. I can give you a cost estimate for suspenison upgrades
And your always welcome to drive into my shop for adjusments any time during the riding season seven days a week. I never close!!!
I can work with 5 people in a day if there is more interest I will bring an assistant. Post up and let me know.

Re: Suspension Tuning IMI Fri 8/7

Its good to see a couple of threads about people doing suspension work. I didnt really know how bad mine was until I got it fixed and holy cow was I suprised what a difference a bike setup for my weight made.

To put it into perspective I had 5MM of sag (yes 5) which means I was using roughly 1/3rd of the given supension at 170 pounds (dressed). The recommended range is 25 to 35MM which would be around a 240+ pound rider (not sure what Suzuki was thinking). I am now using the entire range of motion and its a whole different ride. I wish I knew about this type of stuff several years ago. I would have started with suspension work before I did anything else to the bike. At a bare minimum you should have a pro take a few measurements to give you an idea of where you are.

Sal (hotcarcass) did all the work on my bike as well and I highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in getting your suspension tuned.

Thanks guys I gotta tell ya I feel like a dick. Rybo will be out there on thursday. I didn't realize it unitl I saw the post next to each other. I in no way intend to compete for business on this forum. I'm available anytime to do suspension especially for RYBO. I strongly recomend any street or track rider to get out there thursday and take advantage of RYBO's years of knowledge and expertise in motorcycle set up.

    Sal,

No worries man, I'm happy that more people are offering this service in Colorado right now. Get out there Friday and work with the people who are heading out that day. Well set up bikes = happy riders who want to go faster = more people at trackdays.

    That is good for everyone!
