    Your Republican Nominee for 2012

Palin says Obama's health care plan is 'evil'

"The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil," Sarah Palin

After a misguided statements like this, one can only hope…

I’m thinking about registering as a Republican so I can vote for her in the primaries, just for the entertainment value of the debates.

I am not or Republican, or a Democrat for that matter, but I think Palin should spend more time topless.

I dig that dude Bob Corker. I have seen him on CNBC a bunch of times and he seems like a smart cat. They should get him.

    Epic.

When I was a young lad and still had a promising career, I used get trotted out along with the other Jr Enlisted every time a group of VIPs wanted to have breakfast at the Chow hall with some "Normal AF folks."

One particular group was there for one reason or another and had Ms Quayle, wife of Dan Quayle, Bush Sr's less than stellar VP. Some of you silverbacks may remember his infamous "Potatoe" debacle, in addition to his New hampshire Nat Guard controversy. This was at the height of Clinton's administration, during the first term.

What killed me was these were extremely sucessful business memebrs, retired general officers and generally super smart folks that had mades stupid money, or at least inherited it and invested it well. They were introducing Ms Qualye as the future First Lady.

Now I have no beef with her per sea, but the idea that her husband even stood a chance of getting the party nod was naive to the piont of causing me pain. Sure enough, come 1996, his name wasn't even mentioned.

Palin may geniunely be a great person (and I agree with the topless asessment, but only becuase I am a pig) but the Republican party can't get away from her fast enough. She cannot examine her world, after getting into a press war with Letterman, never addressing the accusations of Diva behavior (which BTW McCain will not confirm, but won't deny either) and the big nail in her coffin; for whatever reason she had, valid or no, leaving office early and actually think anyone in that party will pay attention to her.

These extremist polarizing statements may fly in local campiagns, but in the era of marketablity, it doesn't work on a national scale. For years the Democratic party only offered "We're not Republican" as a platform and it cost them dearly. It would now seem the only vocal members of the republican part seem to offer the same idea.

Psssst, Sarah, it doesn't work. Ask John Kerry.

Can someone honestly tell me why she could ever be considered for politics? I mean, really? What's her background? What skills does she have??? Everything I've seen indicates she should be wearing a Hooters uniform, yet she's the Great White Hope of the Republican party... sad.

Na that wasn’t Nostradamus, it was the Mayans and their Mesoamerican Long Count calendar that has the end date of 2012.

It notes the end of the 13th cycle. That date is supposed to mark the return of the Mexican god Quetzalcoatl who, according to Mayan mythology, is to destroy the wicked and usher in the end of the world. The name means backward redneck female with long plumage. She will come from the north carrying a message of complete ignorance and stupidity, and will have many followers in pickup trucks with gun racks.

I think that most of supporters fall into the "Hey, she's a stupid bitch, just like me!" or "Gorsh, she shur be perdy!" category.

It's unfrotunate that politics is as much a popularity contest as it is a great debate over policies.

I had a guy at work tell me "She hunts, fishes, and rides a motorcycle... hell, that's good enough for me!" Wow, really?

Liberty never came from government. The history of liberty is a history of resistance. The history of liberty is a history of limitations of government power, not the increase of it. Woodrow Wilson, September 9th, 1912

"The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, waistoids, dweebies, dickheads - they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude."
