Anyone go to a butcher or find a market where you can get goat? In CS.

There's nothing wrong with goat. Especially if you find yourself a lovely Haitian or Jamaican woman to cook it for you.
Damn, I miss living in Miami!
That is so baa-aaa-aaa-aaaad

Back home in Miami, you can go into a few supermarkets, especially in the Islands part of town, and get goat.
Yep, I miss the availability of Jamaican and Cuban food out here. We had a couple places in Tallahassee but Jax and South FL were even better.
Mental, goat is good. I figure they don't carry it a King Soupers for the same reason they don't carry it at most US groceries, cause Americans just don't eat a lot of goat. Over 70% of the world population eats goat. The US makes up 5%? of the world population.

So true! I'm Cuban, so I do all of my own cooking whenever I'm in the mood for some carne con papas, vaca frita, yucca en mojo, masitas de puerco, lechon, arroz con frijoles negros, moros, platanos maduros fritos, etc. Damn! Now I'm hungry!!!
And I'll second the comment about gator tail. I used to go out Alligator Alley to the Miccosukee Indian Res. (spelling on Miccosukee???) and get a plate of fried gator tail. By the way, I haven't seen a Publix since I left Florida lol
