Anyone? Going to change the rear sprocket today and need to pick up the right size socket. Thanks.

Well the 07 GSXr is 32mm but you could take the one out of your tool kit and size it up.

Mine's a 32mm. I bet it's in that area. I have a 36mm socket that's from swapping the CV axle on a Chevy S10, so I doubt it's that big, or even a 34mm...

Searched the r1-forum.com and see it's 32mm.

Wicky, mine is a 32mm as well. I would do as these other fine individuals suggested and start there....or walk into auto zone, grab a socket...tell them you need to make sure it fits they let me do that all the time. Maybe I just get away with it because I'm a chic. Who knows.

I had to dig a bit, nothing says 2008 = 32mm, but i found a tech article on http://www.r1messagenet.com through the forum and a few other things such as teh 07 manual, which shoudl be identical.
I haven't downloaded (mine's a 2000) but here you go: http://www.mediafire.com/?1zwrwzfyqsi

Dont think the manual will say the size. But should be a 32mm.
Also..
Are you sure? Should be 36mm like all GSXRS, and wont be same as YamahaWell the 07 GSXr is 32mm but you could take the one out of your tool kit and size it up.
