Thanks for all the tips, I have used several ear bud brands. Still want to try some ear plugs with audio to try to reduce as much wind noise as possible. All the Best

These earplugs fit snugly in the ear canal. That means that you won't get an earache from your helmet pressing against them into your ear. Also, they want fall out as you put your helmet on. These are Shure drivers in each earpiece. The only thing that sticks out of your ear is a small cable.

I use a pair of Klipsch headphones on my bike rides, one in of course :P They are a bit pricey but well worth the money. They sound bad-ass.

I just picked up some Skull Candy phones at lunch today.

They cancel the noise of the bike pretty well.

    The sound is not bad.

They stay in when you put your helmet on.

My only complaint is the lack of an external volume control.

could have gotten you a pair for next to nothin......

I like my Skull Candy's... I have a few different pairs. The Smokin Buds are great for under the helmet. They also have a pair that have a very thin peice of rubber that goes behind your ear. For me they rub a lil too much. And i have the traditional styl for when i snowboard.

not cheap, but don't hurt my ears at all with the helmet. They are based out of Boulder. I have found that they cut out so much background with them both in my ears that I only ride with one in.

Get one made for snowboarding/skiing if you are going to get one. They are water resistant.

Re: Need YOUR Help! Audio Ear Plugs

I bought these custom fit earphones.

    http://earplugstore.stores.yahoo.net/chmisearph.html

They block noise almost as well as regular foam earplugs, and they sound great. The best thing about them is that because they are formed to my ear canals, they never fall out. Never. I use them all the time now, in the shop, on the bike, in the gym, etc. Yes, they were more than $20, but if you have the $ for them, you won't be disappointed.
