I've noticed a new trend with the police in the Springs.
When they watch for speeders they are not parking close to the road. They are parking their cars further back, next to buildings and such. You would never see them unless you happen to look right over your shoulder as you pass the building or in your rearview mirror.
I've signaled a couple riders when I spot one but doubt they will ever see the police.
they also sit on the mlk bypass and clock both ways, using the bottom bikes/cars to ticket the car the guy standing on the bridge clocked... cspd does this mainly.
sit on southbound 25's shoulder right by 85-87 and clock off the shoulder. staties sit here
sit in between south academy and widefield exit in between the interstate. staties sit there
under academy on 85-87 staties sit there, as well as cspd
They also sit on Union as soon as it passes that Funeral home going southbound right before the turn-off for the MLK bypass.
Favorite one is when they sit at the bottom of the hills on Pikes Peak on both sides of Academy.
They been sitting on southbound powers right before union up on the right side by the large poles in the dirt...everyone just sees open shoulder with no cars but if you look up and to the right youll see the bike cop sitting up top clocking everyone.
