I build motorcycles Somehow I seem to have more disposable income when Im unemployed than when I am working. I was unemployed when I started my project 3 years ago. Im unemployed now and just finished it. For money, I will work on(repair and customize) friends bikes, usually for the cost of parts plus lunch. Plus I always have spare parts for either bikes or Jeeps laying around. Ive got over $3000 in ebay auctions for Jeep axles ending before the end of the week that should all sell. At first I was using teh time to relax after working 60 hours a week every week, then I started getting stir crazy. Its been 6 months now and Im sick of my house. But I was able to use the time to get my ASE certifications up to date, and I will be making another trip around the city next week dropping off resumes and apps. but in the meantime, its wrenching and riding.

The custom home market in Colorado has completely disappeared! I've contacted four job services specializing in Architect/Engineering type stuff and they have zero leads. The on-line job searches return, "sorry, no matches for your criteria." Not even a simple drafting position (which I would gladly take!!)
