I'm not sure who I'm bunkin with or where. I'd prefer to get a roomy cause I'm a cheap SOB. Maybe I'll haul a bag along and someone will rent me some floor space.

To include the Moab section (road 128 ) and stop in Durango, without adding huge miles, 70 is pretty much the only. I'm planning to follow the crowd, backroads or freeway, I'll be in Durango.

Thank you, Noskills. I think I will ride one of them to Durango and the other one back. The weather forecast for Durango next week Sat and Sun is great - low 70s. I'm in.

Just a warning...i live in silverton and it has been raining every afternoon for 3 weeks now....sometimes just a drizzle for a while and sometimes RAIN...just be prepared....oh and we are being over-run with Q-tips looking at the pretty colors...just sayin, Coalbank, Molas, and Red Mtn passes are likely to be more friendly earlier in the day, preferably before 10am. Just keep an eye on the forecasts.

I have a disc lock I will bring. I secure my bike with an onguard lock while on the road preferably to another bike.

Cool! He, along with a couple by the names of Sam & Mavis, moved from Telluride over there about seven or eight years ago. I also had a friend that worked as an assayer there for Root & Norton / Standard Metals Mine . Great place.
