Usually everyone will wait for the slower people before we turn onto the next road. Ride your own ride, and you'll be fine. Everyone is usually pretty good about making sure the others are accounted for. If you're new to riding, just let the group know.

The other "manditory stops" are usually for gas, or the meeting points that have been discussed on here (MoCo, Nederland.... etc).

Colorado Ave is on the west side. Take 25 to Cimmaron (exit 141) and go west to 31st Street. Turn right at 31st and the Starbucks will be about 300' ahead on the northwest corner.

Prob won't make this one after all. I'll have to catch up with you some other time, CaneZach. Looking forward to riding again sometime soon.

What a great day for a ride. For those of you who didn't ride, you missed out! Huge turnout today too.

Hey dont say sorry for being slow. We all ride are own ride. It is also better just waiting a little while then having you crash cause you were pushing trying to keep up. 1 crashing takes up more time then being slow. 2 would much rather wait then have to pull you out of a ditch/guard rail.

This not an offical ride until someone posts up a few pic's, we need some proof. Sounds like ya all had fun, I'm on my way to CA. again, but by car this time, no bike in tow even, stupid I know. I'll try my best to make the next one, that is if it's ok a slow old guy hangs in the back.

is there a place nearby that i could practice hard leaning without paying a arm and a leg for track fees or getting a ticket?

I recommend chicane track days. They offer a controlled and safe track environment with great instructors. How can you practice leaning if maybe your body position is off and no one is there to instruct you? My 2 cents.
Unfortunately, it looks like you'll have to wait till next season for chicane.

Chicane has leathers and such to borrow. If they don't have them, if you post up on the board someone usually will have something to let you borrow.

Be careful out there! Riding without the proper gear can end up costing you a lot more than purchasing the gear (both is pain and money). Just my opinion.

Understand. However, ask yourself how much your arms and legs are worth to you!

Considering you said you don't want to pay track fees, I think Chicane days are out

Like I told you when we were at the top of Horsepower Hill (where you warmed up your hands), I started riding trackdays back in 1997 when I lived in Texas. Trackdays make you such a better rider that they should always be considered, but I understand if you can't afford them. The good thing is that Chicane has instructors that are there to help you learn.

IMI is an option. It's a short track that is used for go-cart racing, but you can take your bike out there and work on your form. The bad news is that you need to know what you're doing first because there are no instructors at IMI and if you're looking for somewhere to even get used to leaning your bike, you're just not ready to head out by yourself.

If you're interested, I'm always willing to help out someone who is new to riding. All you have to do is ask! I'll PM you my phone number, so if you want some advice/help, drop me a line or text.
